Data sharing instead of reordering

Data sharing instead of reordering

Real time instead of gut feeling: Swedish start-up Impulso raises 6 million euros in seed capital, led by 42CAP and Spintop Ventures. The platform, founded by industry professionals David Thunmarker (ex-Tiger of Sweden, Oscar Jacobson) and Mathias Olsteg, brings new dynamism to the collaboration between brands and retailers. Their flagship product, the Product Tracker, provides up-to-date sales and inventory data. "Our tool reduces overproduction, improves demand forecasting and enables more profitable and sustainable partnerships with retailers," explains Thunmarker. Olsteg adds: "We used to work very closely with the brands - in a way that hardly exists today. We sat with them every week, shared sales reports and made decisions together to optimize sales and assortment. This way of working is the foundation of Impulso's innovation." The start-up is bringing this principle into the digital age. The platform has struck a nerve: its customers already include Jacob Cohën and Follestad. Impulso intends to use the new capital to grow across Europe, develop AI-supported forecasting tools and integrate fintech functions.
