75 years Wolfgang Brinkmann

A life between equestrian sport and the fashion industry: Wolfgang Brinkmann celebrates his 75th birthday on May 23. The man who built Bugatti into a European brand with quiet consistency is not thinking of stopping. Entrepreneur, Olympic champion, visionary - Brinkmann is everything you would expect from a Hanseatic businessman. Together with his brother Klaus, he has managed the family business since 1976, now in the third generation with his sons. Brands such as Bugatti, Wilvorst, Eduard Dressler, Eskadron and Pikeur speak for themselves, as does a turnover of 202 million in 2023. Brinkmann's heart beats not only for fashion, but also for horses: in 1988 he won team gold in Seoul with Bugatti Pedro, and since then he has been passionately involved in training and breeding. Fairness, vision and continuity have characterized Wolfgang Brinkmann's style, both in business and in sport. The celebrations will take place a week later at the "May Days" show at his home stables in Herford: with horses, family and friends.
