Host of soft tones

The invitation is a statement. For the 108th edition of Pitti Immagine Uomo (June 17-20, 2025), Francesca Tacconi and her team have chosen Tuscan designer Niccolò Pasqualetti as guest designer. A decision that is less about effect and more about substance. Pasqualetti, a current finalist for the LVMH Prize, brings with him a signature that mediates between masculine and feminine, classic and contemporary - and is never loud. He is showing his first menswear collection exclusively in Florence. "Much like Jean Arp, who inspired his jewelry designs, Niccolò Pasqualetti creates new forms of reality with his garments by experimenting with different materials," says Francesca Tacconi, Special Events Coordinator at Pitti Immagine. Niccolò Pasqualetti emphasizes: "It means a lot to me to be invited to Pitti Immagine Uomo this season - for me, this fair has always stood for rigour in the production and meaning of clothing. The codes of menswear have always shaped my desire for precision, expressive details and a certain freedom in dressing. I look forward to developing these codes further without moving away from them."
