Serving Culture, Sharing Food

Serving Culture, Sharing Food
The idea behind the Woodbird Noodleshop begins with an image: you enter a small corner store in Hong Kong - and suddenly find yourself in a different world. Between colorful packaging and characters full of mystery, a feeling of curiosity and discovery arises. Woodbird picked up on precisely this atmosphere with its kiosk at the CIFF in Copenhagen - and is now consistently developing it further.

Danish label Woodbird has announced the opening of its first "Noodleshop" in 2026. Not a traditional store, but a hybrid of restaurant, streetwear store and community hub. This is where Scandinavian design meets Asian street culture - a fusion that is shaped by founder Chung's roots in Hong Kong and his many years of fashion experience. The menu features signature dishes, complemented by Woodbird merch and selected items from the collection.

The leitmotif "People before product" makes it clear that the focus is on the community. Copenhagen is just the start; a global rollout is already planned. The successful pop-up at CIFF will be followed by smaller activations that will strengthen the wholesale area and bring the concept to life step by step. The Woodbird Noodleshop shows how brands today can rethink emotionalization and community building: not as a sales area, but as a meeting place - sharing stories, sharing food.
