Focus: Community 

In collaboration with Room With A View and Kleider machen Leute, Veja organized several community events in Salzburg and Linz to launch the “Condor 3 Advanced Engineered-Mesh” running shoe. 

The event kicked off with a morning run in Salzburg in partnership with Salzi Runs. Starting at 220 Grad Nonntal, participants tested the new running shoes during a group run through the city. This was followed by a group breakfast at 220 Grad.  

Another highlight awaited fans of the brand that evening: An exclusive screening of the film “Far From The Spotlight” offered fascinating insights into Veja’s supply and value chains in Brazil—from raw material sourcing and processing to final production.  

A few days later, the concept was expanded upon in Linz: To celebrate its 18th anniversary, Kleider machen Leute organized a multi-day community program that combined the Social Run with other engagement activities. 

For example, during a customization session, customers were able to design their own Veja shoes. Another highlight was the screening of “Far From The Spotlight,” followed by a Q&A session with the Veja team, which allowed attendees to delve deeper into the film’s themes through direct interaction. 

Two locations, people who share common values, and product activation taken to a whole new level—successful examples of community-building that leave a lasting impact.
