Italy's textile art in LA
From May 19 to 24, 2025, West Hollywood was the focus of the American fashion scene with a special event: The Garment Dyed Revolution, initiated by Tintoria Emiliana (Modena, Italy), transformed the Los Angeles flagship store Florim into a stage for Italian textile art and innovation.

Twelve internationally recognized manufacturers of fabrics and yarns as well as two leading accessory companies presented their expertise on the basis of 350 garments and accessories that were finished using 42 different dyeing processes. The focus was on the history of garment-dyed sportswear, impressively told through selected pieces by Massimo Osti Studio in collaboration with Tintoria Emiliana.

The special feature of the event was the combination of fashion, materiality and space. Each exhibit entered into a dialog with the architectural elements and ceramic surfaces of the host Florim. This interdisciplinary approach underlined the organizers' central concern to understand fashion not only as a product, but also as an expression of territorial identity, cultural depth and technological innovation.
