Innovations for the production process
In a challenging market environment, Texprocess 2026 remains a key platform for innovation in textile processing.

From April 21 to 24, 2026, approximately 200 exhibitors from 28 countries will present technological solutions for the processing of textiles and flexible materials at the exhibition center in Frankfurt am Main. The most prominent exhibiting countries include Germany, Italy, Taiwan, Turkey, and the United Kingdom; companies from Australia, Finland, Slovakia, and Hungary will be represented for the first time. Techtextil 2026 will take place concurrently. The leading international trade fair showcases solutions across the entire process chain—from CAD/CAM through cutting, sewing, and embroidery to finishing. Visitors will thus gain a comprehensive market overview to inform their investment decisions. Particular focus will be placed on automated processing technologies, digitized processes, and AI-optimized workflows designed to improve efficiency, quality, and resource utilization. Another key focus is the globally comprehensive range of cutting technologies.

“At Texprocess, we see the opportunities that new technologies hold for many companies. Investments in fast, connected, and cost-effective systems make it possible to future-proof production. Especially in light of current challenges such as volatile trade policies, a shortage of skilled workers, and persistently high energy costs, performance-optimized machines and processes are a decisive competitive advantage,” says Sabine Scharrer, Director of Brand Management for Technical Textiles & Textile Processing at Messe Frankfurt.

The Texprocess Innovation Award recognizes outstanding developments, for example in the areas of digitalization, AI, and sustainable production processes. Guided tours of the winners’ booths offer in-depth insights. At the Texprocess Forum, industry experts discuss current topics such as AI-based production solutions or ways to modernize production processes in line with Industry 4.0. Synergies arise from the parallel Techtextil event: The Performance Apparel Textiles product segment in Hall 9.0 is now even closer to Texprocess in Hall 8.0. For visitors, this means shorter distances and direct interaction between material innovation and processing technology.
