Stable growth
More than 1,500 exhibitors from 49 countries will be presenting their innovations in the field of technical textiles and nonwovens in Frankfurt am Main from April 21 to 24, 2026.

More than 120 start-ups are participating for the first time. Texprocess 2026 is taking place at the same time, with around 200 exhibitors. Together, the two trade fairs are hosting more than 1,700 exhibitors at the Frankfurt exhibition center – despite difficult market conditions such as recession, trade conflicts, and geopolitical tensions.

With 16 country pavilions, including France, Korea, and Switzerland, as well as the Netherlands and Tunisia for the first time, Techtextil underscores its international significance. Exhibitors from India, Portugal, and the Netherlands are also expanding their presence, while new companies from Australia, Colombia, Nigeria, Hungary, and Uruguay are joining the show. The trade fair thus continues to be regarded as a central platform for decision-makers from various industries to establish partnerships, tap into new markets, and bring applications into practice more quickly.

The Performance Apparel Textiles section in Hall 9.0 will see strong growth in 2026, with its exhibition space doubling in size. Around 130 companies from 13 countries will present materials for high-performance functional clothing, such as protective, work, and outdoor clothing. One highlight will be the live presentation "Performance Apparels on Stage," which will showcase functional end products and wearables in use.

Other focal points include sustainable material solutions under the special interest theme "Nature Performance" and the newly bundled segment "Textile Chemicals & Dyes," in which more than 30 exhibitors will present innovative chemicals and dyes for technical textile applications.
