Taion looks back on a decade of development from a down specialist to a comprehensive lifestyle brand that offers comfortable, lightweight, and breathable functional clothing for both winter and summer.

The name Taion means body temperature in Japanese. Founded in Japan in 2016, the brand initially focused on the production of down jackets. Instead of using 600-fill down, as is often the case, Taion relies on 800-fill high-performance down, perfected over many years of development, which traps more insulating air and thus provides significantly better warmth while being lightweight and highly compressible. The company has since developed into an international utility brand based on modern design. Taion creates garments that combine technical performance with timeless simplicity, focusing on durability, comfort, and everyday wearability. There are four product lines: the Basic line offers timeless classics in over 20 colors, while the Military line impresses with its functional silhouettes. It is available with and without down filling. The Work line includes corduroy vests and jackets made from robust and durable Cordura fabric in an elegant Japanese look. Technical, sporty clothing for outdoor activities in all weather conditions is represented in the Mountain line.

In Austria, the Room with a View agency is responsible for distribution, while in Germany, the Wunschnaht agency handles distribution. Taion's design philosophy and brand identity prioritize functionality and clear Japanese aesthetics. Each product is deliberately designed as a timeless classic.
