How can brick-and-mortar fashion retailers use the opportunities of digitalization for personal customer loyalty? One answer is provided by the ZDF program "WISO - how digital is the economy? SMEs between tradition and transformation", which is now available in the ZDF media library. Anette and Thomas Wartner from Waldshut and their concept store stulz-mode:genuss:leben show as best practice how digital tools can increase customer proximity: via live shopping, personal advice via video on social media, with the aim of creating stationary and digital customer experiences.

"Our concept combines curated fashion with enjoyable products that make life more beautiful, complemented by events and tastings for our Stulz and Friends community," says Thomas Wartner. The entrepreneurial couple have been passionate about the idea of hospitality, traditionally firmly anchored in bricks-and-mortar retail, since 2008 - and have also been translating it digitally since 2016.
