Shirakawa
Born in Japan
For the 2027 spring-summer season, the Knallgrau agency has added the Shirakawa shoe collection to its portfolio.
The Portuguese label will be represented by the agency in Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, Rhineland-Palatinate, North Rhine-Westphalia, Saarland, and Hesse. “We are very happy to have this well-connected top agency on our team starting in July 2026,” says Sérgio Cunha. His label, Shirakawa, combines Japanese aesthetics with Portuguese craftsmanship, inspired by a trip to Shirakawa-go in Japan. “With Shirakawa, we want to invite people to slow down, enjoy the tranquility, and turn everyday life into a ritual,” says Sérgio Cunha. “We’re particularly excited about the suede loafers—the craftsmanship and the excellent value for money, with retail prices ranging from 139 to 159 euros,” says Harry Heinrich, who co-runs the agency with Bettina Groeger and will showcase the shoes in the Munich showroom as well as in Düsseldorf.
