At Schnitzler, “community” isn’t just a buzzword—it’s been a way of life for years.
On June 24, this approach will take on a new format: The 3rd Place aims to bring together entrepreneurs, doers, and thought leaders through a talk—in a space that is neither an office nor a living room, and where genuine connections happen. “Free from the traditional business logic that every event must be revenue-driven—that old way of thinking is too simplistic for me,” says owner Andreas Weitkamp. “I see Schnitzler and Weitkamp as places that are meant to inspire our customers far beyond fashion.”
Franzi von Hardenberg, founder of the jewelry label The Siss Bliss, will kick things off. The entrepreneur, who has also founded Bloomy Days and Bliss Bang Capital, embodies a spirit of entrepreneurship that not only questions market logic but seeks to transform it. The discussion with Andreas Weitkamp will be moderated by Janina Ostendorf, founder of Jules: “This evening is about building community, the future of retail, and the question of how to make a difference when you’re not following the beaten path.” As part of a roadshow, The Siss Bliss is making stops at select retailers—following Bailly-Diehl in Frankfurt and The Wants in Cologne, Schnitzler in Münster is the next stop. During the day, the label will showcase its real gold jewelry in the women’s department at Schnitzler, including on-site gold buying.
