A new approach combining sales, brand strategy, and social media: In partnership with the agency The Wants Social, the sales agency Orderlounge aims to reach brands, buyers, and customers not only during traditional order events in showrooms or at trade shows, but to engage with them year-round and actively communicate with the market.

Through this partnership, the agency is responding to the growing importance of digital communication and social media platforms within the fashion and footwear industry. “Since much of the information gathering today takes place via social media, the decision to bring in a specialized agency was a logical step. This allows us to create added value for both our brands and our customers,” explains Darius Herges, CEO of Orderlounge. 

This creates a holistic setup for the brands in the portfolio—from the initial contact through the order appointment to the end-customer touchpoint on platforms like Instagram and TikTok. The Wants Social brings extensive experience from both brick-and-mortar retail and e-commerce to the table. “Together with Orderlounge, we want to translate this expertise into a visual language and tone that works in the social media sphere without diluting the showroom’s curatorial standards,” says Mark Hegelau of The Wants Social. 

The range of services includes brand strategy, social media branding, content production, ongoing channel management, influencer marketing, event management, and paid media. Anna Siepenkötter and Karla Jenders, Heads of Strategy & Creative, are in charge of the project. Both have previously worked with brands such as Scholl, Copenhagen Studios, Liebeskind Berlin, PNTS, and Les Visionnaires. 

For the Spring/Summer 2027 season, Orderlounge is also expanding its portfolio to include Safe The Duck Footwear, the barefoot shoe brand Lejan, and the Spanish womenswear label Alma En Pena.
