Pioneer for mulesing-free wool

According to a recent study by the animal welfare organization Vier Pfoten, the fashion brand Olymp is one of the world's leading companies in the responsible use of wool.
The company from Baden-Württemberg is far ahead in international comparison, particularly in terms of transparency, traceability and product labeling. As part of the study "The suffering behind the labels", 102 fashion companies worldwide were evaluated. Olymp impressed with a high proportion of mulesing-free wool, clear labeling and certified fibres in accordance with the Responsible Wool Standard. "Today, 98.7 percent of our wool already comes from mulesing-free sources. Our goal is to go completely mulesing-free," says Johann Trischberger, Managing Director Operations. Olymp is thus setting a strong example for animal welfare and sustainable supply chains in the fashion industry.
