Step into the Future
From September 7 to 9, 2025, MICAM will celebrate its 100th edition in Milan, marking over five decades of passion for footwear between Italian craftsmanship, international visions and constant change.
What once started as a stage for Italy's shoe industry is now a global industry meeting place with a claim to innovation. Over 870 brands present their spring/summer 2026 collections, including renowned names as well as progressive newcomers. Brands from Spain, Turkey, Brazil, Germany and Portugal are particularly well represented. Many of them bring fresh impetus through sustainable materials, technological aspirations or a bold understanding of design that breaks away from conventions.
Instead of indulging in nostalgia, the anniversary edition sets clear signals for the future. With exhibitions, talks and themed areas, the trade fair looks back at technological and stylistic developments and addresses the key issues surrounding AI, digitalization and the retail of tomorrow.
