Paris Edition Strengthens Its International Network
The Danish trade fair Mandatory is celebrating its second anniversary while continuing to expand internationally.
Since its founding, the platform has established itself as a curated space for creative professionals, with a specific focus on fostering sustainable networking and shared growth—both in Copenhagen and beyond.
“We deliberately pursue a selective positioning strategy. Instead of targeting a broad audience, our approach emphasizes focus, quality, and relevance. This strategic clarity is considered a key factor for success in an increasingly fragmented market environment,” explains co-founder Clara Leone.
With the Mandatory Paris Edition, the founding duo is now taking the next step. “The new format is designed to address changing market conditions, where collaboration is no longer optional but essential. The goal is to build a shared platform where brands and agencies can work more closely together, strengthen one another, and grow together,” adds Mads M. Petersen.
The event, taking place from June 24 to 29, 2026, has been deliberately kept compact: Only about 25 brands will be admitted to the Paris show to ensure a high-quality and focused presentation. Selection is based on the established Mandatory DNA—featuring a contemporary profile and positioning in the mid-to-high-end market segment.
