Inspired by this attitude to life, the Stuttgart-based designer creates an urban casual style with feminine lightness with Liv Bergen - made in Portugal, with high-quality feel-good materials.
Inspired by trips to the seaside, days on a yacht or the casual street style of the skater scene, the collection combines urban energy with casual ease. The focus is on oversized sweaters in soft fabrics. Crochet hoodies bring structure and lightness to the range, complemented by oversized shirts, colorful denims, airy shirts and chunky knitwear with a nautical touch. "The pieces play around the body, offer maximum freedom of movement and can be combined in a variety of ways," emphasizes Sybille Mezger. A particular highlight is the ice cream print sweater: a little playful and easy to wear, a typical statement from the label.
In terms of color, strong neon accents meet soft sorbet tones, a contrast that provides both visual and emotional freshness. The preferred materials are high-quality cotton blends and linen denim, produced in small, family-run businesses in Portugal. "I want to create fashion with responsibility," emphasizes Sybille Mezger, "through fair production, long-lasting quality and a noticeable demand for workmanship and design." Liv Bergen should not be a standard product, she adds. "Rather, my collection stands for fashion with soul and positive energy."
