ILM
"The ILM is gaining traction"
From February 7 to 9, 2026, the International Leather Goods Fair in Offenbach will once again be the meeting place for the industry. A mix of around 300 international collections featuring handbags, luggage, and accessories will be presented.
"The ILM is attracting interest. Many well-known companies are returning," says Arnd Hinrich Kappe, Managing Director of Messe Offenbach, happily. "They have recognized the importance of the trade fair in the market and that Offenbach is the only place where they can reliably reach their customers." A new partnership with the Travel Goods Association will not only bring more than 20 new brands, mainly from the outdoor sector, to Offenbach, but also numerous trade visitors from the USA. "The trade fair remains an event for the retail sector; consistency is part of its success," says Arnd Hinrich Kappe. "But this time, fashion-conscious end consumers also have something to look forward to: TV presenter Frauke Ludowig will be exploring the ILM, posting her highlights and talking about her impressions live on talk shows. There will also be talks and trend presentations." Other extras? A 360-degree video camera in the foyer, which exhibitors and visitors can use to create panoramic videos for social media, a new mobile catering concept, and an after-work party for networking. On top of that, a free shuttle service will take visitors to Ambiente in Frankfurt, which is taking place at the same time.
