Bettina Gayk, owner of Gayk Fashion Lounge: With my international brand portfolio, I can serve multi-label retailers in all price ranges—from low entry-level prices to premium. The key is that everything works perfectly for the retailer. People who come to me are looking for exactly this mix. Fashion is my great passion! I have been with many brands since their inception. Long-term, cooperative relationships with my brands and my retailers are the most important thing to me.
Which collections particularly characterize the Gayk Fashion Lounge?
Elias Rumelis is a premium denim concept with innovative washes, unusual details, and slim to relaxed silhouettes, complemented by strong tops. Ana Alcazar stands for dress expertise and strong combinations. With feminine designs and modern silhouettes, it is a collection that has something for every woman. At the lower end of the price range, I'm betting on Freequent from Denmark: a fashionable total look provider including knitwear and outerwear that brings trends to market quickly and reliably.
Which labels are new?
Co’Couture from Denmark. The feminine Scandinavian look with a twist, combined with a good price-performance ratio, is exciting for many retailers. Also new is Alix the Label from the Netherlands, with a rock-cool attitude that delivers strong statement pieces while remaining suitable for everyday wear.
What is particularly important to you in trading today?
For me, it is crucial that retailers can generate momentum at any time. We seamlessly follow on from our pre-order collections, supplemented by new fast fashion concepts such as Marta du Château and Via delle Rose, which immediately fill gaps in the range. These delivery programs, which can be incorporated at short notice, give retailers the flexibility they need today.
