Marcus Grahm as the new CEO 
By appointing a CEO from within the company, Gang is setting the course for the next phase of development. Marcus Grahm embodies continuity, trust, and a clear strategic vision for the brand’s future. 

Denim specialist Gang has appointed Marcus Grahm as CEO, effective April 1. After several years as a sales partner, he is now moving into the company’s operational leadership. Grahm brings nearly 20 years of experience in fashion sales and has been representing the brand as an agent in Bavaria since 2021. “This led to initial discussions that ultimately resulted in this new, exciting, and personally very rewarding role for me,” said the new CEO. A role he accepts with great respect: “I see it as a challenge, but also as an enormous vote of confidence that Roberto (note: Chini) is entrusting me with his life’s work. That is exactly what appealed to me.” 

Together with Jessica Pupavac (Product) and Klaus Niessner (Finance, Logistics, Human Resources), he will form the leadership team at Gang, Chini & Company. In his new role, Grahm will be responsible for sales, production, marketing, and e-commerce. 

Strategically, the company continues to focus on its denim expertise under new leadership and plans to expand its cotton and tailored segments as well. Growth is to be managed in a controlled manner—both domestically and internationally. 

In terms of content, Grahm clearly places the human factor at the center: “If we can make people want to come here, believe in our success together, and identify with the brand’s values, then we will continue to be successful. For me, the Gang brand is defined by the people—not by slogans.” 

At the same time, he wants to further develop the company’s structure: “Gang has grown rapidly, driven by a strong entrepreneurial spirit and passion. Now the goal is to support this growth with the right structures—without losing our deeply human culture.”
