Retro vibes with a bold statement
The Graphic Tee Capsule for the 2026 summer season pays homage to All-American workwear and the vintage aesthetic of the 70s and 80s.
For its special editions, Floris deliberately pushes the boundaries of traditional shoemaking—this time with a distinctive, charming, and stylish T-shirt collection.
These striking shirts make a bold statement: large, expressive vintage-style back prints draw inspiration from American workwear as well as iconic everyday culture—from the gas station romance of the ’70s and drive-in movie theaters to the take-out pizzeria vibe of the ’80s. All the graphics are linked by a narrative centered on the product that has defined the brand for nine generations: the shoe.
“All-American workwear really sparks my imagination,” explains Floris. “I picture neon signs, giant coffee mugs, drive-in theaters, and Mary Lou Anne getting ready for a night out. We wanted to capture that nostalgic, uncomplicated feeling and translate it stylistically into a refined T-shirt collection. As authentically as possible!”
The focus is on authenticity rather than digital gimmicks. “The more digital everything becomes, the more I appreciate the analog. These shirts feel wonderfully analog,” says Floris. “Not everything has to be hypermodern. No Photoshop, no AI—just a strong design, cleanly printed, and off we go.”
The Special Pieces are made in Portugal from 100% compact cotton in a high-quality single jersey fabric. A modern regular fit, slightly longer sleeves, and a sturdy collar create a relaxed, contemporary silhouette.
Subtle FvB details complete the design: a black logo label in the side seam and a soft vintage logo print at the back of the neck. The capsule collection features five designs on ivory-white shirts—each a unique statement with a narrative quality.
The Floris van Bommel “Graphic Tee Capsule” will be available in the online store starting in May 2026 for €70 per shirt in sizes S–XXL, embodying a clear blend of authenticity, craftsmanship, and summery style.
