What does the European expansion strategy look like?
Pepijn van Bommel, Commercial Director: We are pursuing a string of pearls strategy. We are not aiming for blanket expansion, but are instead searching very specifically for retail partners that fit our brand identity. This has enabled us to open new stores in four European countries where we were not previously represented.
How is Floris van Bommel positioned in the new markets?
In Benelux and D-A-CH, we are an established mainstream premium brand and a fixture in upscale specialty stores. In new markets, however, we are perceived as more exclusive, as a brand that lends additional appeal and profile to the overall product range.
Which looks are particularly promising for fall/winter 2026?
We have high expectations for warm brown tones, wool looks, and loafers, which will remain popular in winter. At the same time, the dressed segment is making a clear comeback. We are also seeing flatter soles and continued strong demand for lightness, softness, and flexible comfort.
