Linen and algae

June 16, 2026 BY Kay Plonka

Linen and algae
Algae-based dyes are a key feature of Ecoalf's Spring/Summer 2027 outerwear collection.

Algae grow quickly, do not require farmland, and absorbCO2 as they grow. As a result, they help reduce our ecological footprint. Unlike synthetic dyes, algae-based dyes are biodegradable and contain no toxic chemicals. In addition, the stylish Striped Linen Capsule collection features lightweight totes and breathable shirts and dresses that reflect the eco-friendliness of the material, which requires only rainwater to grow. @ecoalf
