Chusaja
Vera Wang for the German-speaking market
Effective immediately, the Munich-based agency Chusaja, founded by Sascha Kautschitsch, will begin distributing the ready-to-wear lines of American designer Vera Wang for the DACH region.
A native New Yorker, she began her career as the youngest editor ever at*Vogue* before moving toRalph Lauren. In 1990, she opened her first flagship store on Madison Avenue and revolutionized bridal fashion with a contemporary, fashion-forward approach. Wang’s influence has been widely recognized, including with the CFDA Lifetime Achievement Award and the National Medal of Arts. In 2024, the brand celebrated its 35th anniversary.
The high-quality yet affordable complete collection is positioned as a premium brand that retains Vera Wang’s signature elegance and distinctive style, while also conveying a more relaxed and everyday-friendly character. Under the creative direction of Vera Wang as Chief Creative Officer, the launch of the collection builds on the brand’s well-known monochromatic aesthetic and translates some of its most distinctive design codes into a sophisticated wardrobe for the modern woman. “This is a completely new experience for Vera Wang, as we have never before offered products in this price segment, for this market segment, and with such a broad geographic reach. I look forward to collaborating with the Batra Group to develop a collection of curated pieces that reflects my passion for a wardrobe with a sophisticated, effortless, and versatile appeal—an aesthetic that resonates with people of all ages, cultures, and countries,” explains Vera Wang, founder and Chief Creative Officer.
The Spring/Summer 2027 collection will be on display at the Poet Showroom in Paris from June 25 to 29, at the Europa headquarters in London, and at the Munich showroom.
