Cellar Door was founded in 2015 by Filippo Bettanin.

As part of the family business Vetta Srl, which Bettanin's grandfather established in the early 1970s, product expertise is deeply rooted in the brand's DNA. Vetta Srl produces high-quality trousers in Italy for numerous luxury brands. At Cellar Door, the focus is on using the finest materials, which are crafted using innovative techniques in a minimalist Japanese style. A women's line was introduced for the first time in the summer. In Germany and Austria, distribution is handled by Jeremey McAlpine's agency. Customers include Andreas Murkudis, Apropos, Bungalow, Macondo, Calico, United Arrows, Isetan, Takashimaya, and Rendez Vous.
