The BOSS Award for Outstanding Achievement was presented for the first time at the inaugural Art Basel Awards Night in Miami Beach. The award went to artist Meriem Bennani.

Moroccan-born, New York-based creative Meriem Bennani has gained international attention for her work, which is known for its humorous, pop culture-influenced, and digital imagery. She was presented with the Boss Award for Outstanding Achievement at the Art Basel Awards Night in Miami Beach.

"Art has been an integral part of our DNA for over 30 years," explains Hugo Boss CEO Daniel Grieder. This long-standing commitment was also reflected in the installation "1995–2025: 30 Years of Art Sponsorship," which presented key milestones in Boss's art sponsorship during the award ceremony.

The new award recognizes artistic positions that combine social relevance and visionary power. It comes with a prize of $100,000—half of which the winner can donate to a charitable cause, while the other half will go toward a project developed in collaboration with Boss. At the award ceremony, Bennani emphasized the importance of such support in giving creative voices visibility.
