Hybrid perspectives

Hybrid perspectives
Material, a new curatorial platform, combines the physical and digital worlds of art. Curated by Julian Daynov and initiated by artist Peter-Maximilian Ronsdorf and 3D stage designer Finn Dudek, the hybrid traveling exhibition will launch in September during Berlin Art Week 2025.

The first edition presents over 20 international creatives and explores the relationship between tangible form and digital presence. The exhibition will take place at the Alhambra Berlin at Kurfürstendamm 68 and will be accessible in parallel as a virtual 3D twin to allow art to be experienced beyond geographical borders.

"Material is more than an exhibition - it is a platform that curates physical and digital spaces and thus creates a new approach to art," says curator Julian Daynov.

After its launch in Berlin, Material will continue to exist as a permanent digital gallery, supplemented by pop-up events in global cultural centers. The initiative operates at the interface of contemporary curating, immersive spatial design and nomadic exhibition culture - and thus aims to expand the art landscape with a new perspective.

Opening hours: September 11-14, 2025 | 12-19 hrs | Alhambra Berlin, Kurfürstendamm 68, 10707 Berlin
