Knitwear as art in Dubai

On September 3, 2025, Dubai was dominated by the art of Italian knitwear: Avant Toi celebrated its debut at Dubai Fashion Week as part of La Moda Italiana, an event organized by the Arab Fashion Council in cooperation with ICE and Confartigianato Imprese.

The Spring/Summer 2026 collection transformed knitwear into a kind of painting. Precious materials became the canvas for artisanal techniques and artistic details that gave each piece a distinctive touch. Avant Toi thus staged a subtle dialogue between color, material and creativity, characterized by Italian tradition and a modern, visionary attitude.

On the catwalk, the presentation was like a narrative stage: each garment seemed to carry its own story. Research, design and Italian craftsmanship combined to create something that was not only visible, but almost tangible. Each piece appeared to be unique, a statement that explored the idea of contemporary luxury in a new way.

After the show, the SS26 collection was exclusively on display in the showroom in the Dubai Fashion District (DFW Complex) from September 3 to 5. Buyers, press and industry professionals were able to discover the fine details, from the yarns to the nuanced shades of color that define the Avant-Toi style.
