Agentur Marcus Schiess
Düsseldorf Salon
After representing and helping to build up the Hannes Roether brand since 2011, Marcus Schiess has sought out new challenges for 2026.
On the one hand, as the owner of his agency, he is now responsible for the distribution of several brands, and on the other hand, he is the organizer of the new and independent order platform Salon Düsseldorf, which will take place from January 22 to 26, 2026. The location belongs to the Malkasten artists' association and is located in the small historic private park Jacobinergarten, not far from the old town between the harbor and Kaiserswerther Straße. The team at the Lido restaurant and bar will be providing food and drink from lunchtime until the evening. The agencies Diekaufleute, First Floor, Showroom Mindner, and Cuore Tricolore will be there with a variety of brands, as well as the labels and designers Transit, Shoto, Susanne Bommer, Elemente Clemente, and Danielapi.
Among other things, the Marcus Schiess agency is showing the collection of German fashion designer Hanno Wessel, who studied at the Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne in Paris and founded his own label there in 1994. Today, he runs his own boutiques in Paris and New York. Known for its minimalist cuts, striking details, and timeless designs, his label is produced in Italy and focuses on natural materials such as linen and silk. Starting in January 2026, H+Hannoh Wessel will launch its first men's collection.
The Italian shoe brand Shoto is new to Marcus Schiess' portfolio. He is responsible for the northern Germany region. All shoes are made entirely in Italy from high-quality leathers such as elk, buffalo, deer, horse, and kangaroo leather, often using the welted construction method. The distinctive vintage look is created using special techniques such as stone washing. In addition, some of the leather is dyed using a dip or dab method.
