Agentur Knallgrau
What makes it special is that it works
Shirakawa shoes are new to the agency. What made you decide to carry them?
Bettina Groeger, owner of Agentur Knallgrau: Japanese aesthetics combined with Portuguese craftsmanship. The suede loafers, in particular, are a big hit, with retail prices ranging from 139 to 159 euros.
Which labels stand out?
Liv Bergen is doing great—we saw another 20 percent increase in pre-orders for the fall/winter collection. The crochet line, in particular, is a hit; we’ve had lots of repeat orders! We also have casual sweatshirts with printed slogans—eye-catching and in bold colors. Unique designs really work! Seamless Basic is also a hit—it helped us attract new customers at the Body & Beach trade show. The fact that we’re also supplying Mey’s own stores with these shirts is a great endorsement.
What else?
Noumeno is expanding its lineup with T-shirts and sweatshirts. Blouses are replacing dresses, sometimes featuring a bow or other collar styles that pair perfectly with shorts or jeans. We love the stripes and striped patterns!
