These are the winners of the AFA Awards 2025

Laura Andraschko and Petra Zimmermann were honored at the Austrian Fashion Awards 2025. The event, organized by the Austrian Fashion Association (AFA), has seen itself as a central platform for the promotion and professionalization of contemporary fashion design in Austria since it was founded in 2014.

With annually changing creative teams, the AFA Awards offer space for new perspectives on the local fashion scene. This year, the event took place on the evening of November 12 at the VHS Veranstaltungszentrum Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus.

Laura Andraschko was awarded the City of Vienna Fashion Prize. The creative works with an aesthetic between "glamor and decay, control and chaos". Her collections reflect themes such as mental health and social role models and position her as the voice of a generation that puts attitude before hype.

Petra Zimmermann received the Outstanding Artist Award for experimental fashion design. The Graz-based designer, who has been working at the interface of art, design and fashion for over two decades, transforms historical jewelry fragments into contemporary objects. Her works are represented in museums internationally and stand for a reflected understanding of time and identity.
