New format
On June 24 and 25, 2026, a new project will be launched in Offenbach near Frankfurt: an industry event for shoes, bags and accessories that aims to bring together decision-makers from industry and retail.
The initiator is the Federal Association of the Footwear and Leather Goods Industry, while Messe Offenbach (ILM) is responsible for the concept and venue. "We want to bring together the leading minds in the industry and create an exclusive platform that allows real encounters and networks people from the industry," says Arnd Hinrich Kappe, Managing Director of Messe Offenbach. "069 Connect is not intended to be a sales event, even if the exhibitors can present their innovations, but a place where new ideas can grow in a relaxed atmosphere," adds HDS/L Chairman Carl-August Seibel. A supporting program is also planned, with the aim of jointly developing perspectives for the footwear and leather goods industry. "The industry has been missing such an exclusive convention."
