Eterna Mode GmbH has filed for insolvency under its own administration at the Passau District Court.
According to the company, this will mark the final milestone in the transformation: the complete outsourcing of logistics and the sale of the company premises with subsequent lease-back (sale-and-lease-back). The application became necessary because some of the financial creditors secured by real estate liens on the property did not agree to the planned sale-and-lease-back.
Business operations will continue unchanged under the existing management and will be supported by Georg Bernsau from the law firm KL Gates LLP for the duration of the proceedings. On the product side, work will continue on modernizing the menswear and womenswear collections. The results will be presented at the upcoming order rounds at trade fairs in Florence, Copenhagen, Düsseldorf, and in national and international showrooms, with the aim of continuing to grow internationally.
